Misery

So I'm pretty sure I'm allergic to Oahu. Living on the Big Island, I had absolutely NO allergies whatsoever. It was an amazing thing because everywhere else I've lived I've always had some sort of mild to moderate environmental allergy. Hawaii's Big Island all but made that disappear. I thought it was heaven. The vog didn't even bother me.

So, of course I'm thinking moving to Oahu wouldn't be a big deal....
Boy was I ever WRONG! I feel like everything I touch is a histamine reaction waiting to happen. I have constant itchy watery eyes, itchy runny nose, my ears are so itchy it feels like there is something crawling inside them, itchy itchy ITCHY throat, and did I mention I am practically itchy all over?? I'm itchy EVERYWHERE!

What the hell? How could you do this to me, Hawaii? I thought we were friends?

I've tried zyrtec, allegra and clairtin, none of which work. Benedryl works a bit, but it's only meant for short term relief. Zyrtec makes me feel like a zombie and hardly makes me feel any better, and allegra isn't working at all. I can't take clairtin because of my migraines (and seizure meds).

I feel awful right now. What a way to make me want to move away as fast as possible. So sneaky of you, Oahu....
